The 2UUL SC97 is a high‑performance, disposable desoldering flux formulated for precision electronics repair. It is designed specifically for phone FPC (flexible printed circuit) / dock connector repair tasks, where tight spaces and delicate components make application control critical. The product is often supplied in a 15 ml syringe with a fine needle tip to allow accurate dispensing directly onto small solder joints.
Accurate Dispensing
Comes in a syringe with a fine needle nozzle, allowing pinpoint application even in tight, densely populated PCB areas.
Disposable / Single‑Use Friendly
Designed to be used in repair jobs and discarded after use, minimizing cross‑contamination and wear.
No‑Clean & Halogen‑Free Formula
Its composition ensures minimal residue, which often can be left behind without harming the board or requiring extensive cleaning.
Safe for Sensitive Components
Acid‑free, oxidation resistant — suitable for use around delicate components like connectors, capacitors, and ICs without causing corrosion or damage.
Improves Desoldering Efficiency
Helps solder flow more readily, reduces oxidation effects, and makes removing old solder more manageable during connector removal or rework.
Versatile Use
Useful not just for docking connectors but also for FPC connectors, small BGA rework, or other precision soldering tasks.
Preparation
Clean the area to be desoldered (remove dust, debris). Secure the board.
Apply Flux
Gently press the syringe to dispense a small amount of SC97 flux precisely on the solder joints you intend to remove or rework.
Heat / Desolder
Use your soldering iron or hot air tool. The flux helps the solder flow more smoothly and aids in lift-off of the component (e.g., FPC dock connector).
Wipe / Clean (Optional)
Although it is a no-clean flux, if residue remains or you find it interfering, clean lightly with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush or swab.
Reflow / Solder
After removal or cleaning, apply fresh solder with minimal flux if needed, and test the job.
